Your Discovery Flight includes a pre-flight briefing, a hands-on flight lesson, and the opportunity to ask questions about flight training, pilot certificates, and the next steps toward earning your Private Pilot Certificate. No previous experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to discover the freedom of flight.

Earning your Private Pilot Certificate is the first step toward the freedom of flight. Our FAA-certified flight instructors provide personalized, hands-on training that prepares you to fly safely and confidently while building the knowledge and skills required for real-world aviation. Training includes aircraft operations, navigation, weather, communications, emergency procedures, cross-country flying, and more.

Our training follows FAA Part 61 requirements and prepares students for the FAA Knowledge Test and Practical Test (checkride). The FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours of flight time, including dual instruction and solo flight experience, although most students complete their training in 60–75 hours, depending on their schedule and proficiency.

An Instrument Rating expands your flying capabilities by allowing you to safely operate under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) and in a wider range of weather conditions. Our FAA-certified flight instructors provide comprehensive instrument training focused on aircraft control by reference to instruments, instrument approaches, en route navigation, ATC communications, weather interpretation, and aeronautical decision-making.

Our training follows FAA Part 61 requirements and prepares students for the FAA Instrument Rating Knowledge Test and Practical Test (checkride). Applicants must hold a Private Pilot Certificate and complete the required ground training, instrument flight instruction, and 50 hours of cross-country Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time, including 40 hours of actual or simulated instrument time, before earning their Instrument Rating.

A Commercial Pilot Certificate is the next step for pilots pursuing a professional aviation career. Our FAA-certified flight instructors provide advanced flight training focused on precision maneuvers, complex flight operations, aeronautical decision-making, and the professionalism required to operate safely and confidently as a commercial pilot.

Our training follows FAA Part 61 requirements and prepares students for the FAA Commercial Pilot Knowledge Test (when required) and Practical Test (checkride). Applicants must meet the FAA aeronautical experience requirements, including a minimum of 250 total flight hours under Part 61, while developing the skills and confidence needed for careers in flight instruction, charter, aerial survey, and other commercial flying opportunities.

Whether you fly one of our well-maintained training aircraft or your own airplane, we'll tailor the review to your experience, proficiency, and flying goals while meeting the requirements of 14 CFR § 61.56.

A Flight Reviews and IPCs include a minimum of 1 hour of ground instruction and 1 hour of flight instruction, focusing on current FAA regulations, airspace, procedures, and safe flight operations. Our goal is to make your review more than just a requirement—we'll help you sharpen your skills, build confidence, and become a safer, more proficient pilot.
